Disassembly of the device
Check of all tubes with a tube tester and replacement of faulty and weak tubes with proper functioning ones
Cleaning of the cabinet
Cleaning of the chassis (usually by bathing it in a cleaning solution)
Restoration of the mechanism (drive cords, motors, bearings etc.)
Reassembly
Function test
Troubleshooting and replacement of faulty parts
Alignment if required
Test run for days
Inspection for electrical safety (VDE Regulations)
Main goal of all work is to keep the original state as far as possible.
